Why Eva
A school built around the child.
Five ideas that shape how we teach, from the junior years to the senior level.
Student centric approach

The objective of a student centric approach is to make students independent learners. Children engage with learning in different ways, so student learning is personalised, engaging, competency based and not restricted to the classroom.
Students take greater responsibility for their learning and support each other's progress, so every student gets the skills he or she needs to succeed.
Creativity in every learning aspect

The curriculum is structured to keep your child in touch with the ever-changing world, from the junior years to the senior level. We educate to empower students to make decisions, find creative solutions and plan effective action.
We believe in concept-driven learning instead of content-driven learning. Through project-based learning, students build skills in collaboration and innovation as they work towards common goals.
Smart classrooms, with smarter teachers

Gadgets and hi-tech devices are tools that enhance teaching and learning. Having smart classrooms does not make a school smart; it is the teachers who use technology to facilitate learning.
A smart classroom raises engagement and participation for teachers and students by opening up a wealth of resources at a click.
Computational thinking: code early and from scratch

Teaching a couple of languages or programs is not enough. At Eva World School we build computational thinking and logic-building skills by giving students challenges they solve by writing code, like a computer scientist.
We use graphical programming environments such as Scratch and CodeMonkey.
360 degree development

Health is a state of complete harmony of body, mind and spirit. The mind develops in the classroom, the body is built on the field, and the spirit shows when we do what we love.
We offer a range of sports and performing arts to choose from, with a separate professional coach for each co-curricular activity. Through cricket, football, skating, basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis and martial arts, students learn to work in teams and become more disciplined.
